What I'm Coaching and Where

Want to train with me?  Here's a breakdown of when and where I'll be coaching:

Waxman's Gym


Weightlifting Basics Class:

Tuesday/Thursday: 6-7am, 6:30-7:30pm

If you're a beginner looking to learn the lifts for the first time in a safe environment, or someone with a little experience looking to improve in a group setting, this class is for you.

Training Class

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 5:30-6:30pm, 7:30-8:30pm

This is an hour long class that is designed to increase your strength and power while refining and developing your technique under the guidance of a coach, me.  Every 4-6 weeks, depending on the focus of the training, the class will test both a strength AND a skill component.  For instance, at the end of the first 6 weeks of the class, the back squat, power snatch and power clean were tested.

Custom Member Training Hours:

Tuesday: 7-9am, 5-9pm
Thursday: 7-9am
Friday: 9-12am

If you're looking for a more individualized approached with no time restrictions and a more long term development goal, this option is for you.  Any experience level, whether you are a competitive athlete, weekend warrior, or are recovering from an injury is welcome!

This is primarily sports performance training for athletes of any sports ranging from youth to pro levels.  Sports performance training is crucial.  It increases strength and power, efficiency and coordination in movement, aids in injury prevention, and builds confidence in athletes.

This is also for youth interested in getting involved in the sport of weightlifting.

DEUCE Gym


Barbell Performance:

Saturday: 10:00-11:00am

Each Saturday, we focus on a phase (start position and lift off, explosion, and transition) of either the snatch, clean or jerk by working on specific drills and exercises that improve that particle phase.  After drilling the exercises, the class finishing with incorporating what was learned into the full lift.

Cost: $20/class
